Ignore the bug fix comments too, this game loaded and played perfectly and there were no glitches.

I gave it four stars as you can still get a really good challenging game out of playing it - i just prefer playing on earth I think ! In all this is a good game and Civ fans will love it. The premise for Beyond Earth is really interesting but I found the technolgies and the buildings very boring because you dont really know what they are. The one thing I could not stand was the Alien feature, it just slows the game right up and there is no feature to turn them off, very much like the raging barbarians in other Civ games but this time round the Aliens are an integral part of the game. The features are very recognisible so you wont get lost or feel daunted if you have played Civ 1-5 and also the tutorials are really good and much improved. I thought it was good but found it did not grip me as much as the traditional game.
